CLT

The Malpas and District Community Land Trust will hold its launch events today, with two information sessions being held across the district. The first session is in Malpas at the Young persons Centre 10-12, and the afternoon will see the event move to Tilston's Memorial hall, for a session 2-4pm.

The Community Land Trust (CLT) which is operated by local people as a non-profit organisation, enables land to be bought and kept in community ownership in perpetuity. CLT houses be they sold or rented will always go to local people. Membership of a CLT is open to anyone who lives or works or has a strong connection to the area and shares cost just £1.

The launch of this new venture will be an asset to the local community, the launch events offer an opportunity to find out more information, pop along to the Young Persons Centre today or to the Memorial Hall in Tilston.
