This weekend is Heritage open weekend and many historical places will be open to the public. There are many events taking place across Cheshire and Shropshire. The nearest events to the village are in Whitchurch where the local Heritage Centre is hosting a number of exciting events.
From tours to the top of St Alkmund's tower to canal walks the weekend is set to be an exciting adventure into the past. The heritage centre itself is open Friday and Saturday from 11 till 4 and is worthy of a visit with plenty to see and explore.
