PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP (PPG) CONSULTATION
The PPG gives the patient a voice in how local medical services could be developed. PPGs are consulted by the Clinical Commissioning Group and the surgery about significant changes to NHS services in our area.
The PPG at Laurel Bank Surgery in Malpas would welcome your comments on how you would like to see medical services develop.
We are therefore having a public consultation morning on Saturday 18 March 2017 in the Jubilee Hall, Malpas from 9:30am to 12 noon.
Our community is changing and there are national proposals to change the way our medical services are provided.
There are going to be a lot more people living in this area over the next few years as new houses are occupied.
The surgery needs to be able to respond to the increased and potentially different demands.
We will be sharing our ideas as well as giving an overview of the services that are already provided from our surgery.
However we really want to hear from you about things you would like to see.
We have to be realistic. Money is tight, there isn't any extra cash and the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has to save money this year as the budget has been reduced.
So, any ideas that can improve the services at no cost or less cost will be particularly welcome.
We look forward to welcoming you at the Jubilee Hall.
