Many of you will probably know me to talk to, but will probably know my dog's name better — Tilly, the Cockapoo that doesn't like to go walking!
I grew up in rural Yorkshire, and later moved to the Garden of England, Kent, before moving to Cheshire in 1999 with my husband, Wayne.
I came to live in Malpas in 2012, and loved the warm welcome that I received from residents and neighbours, which helped me to quickly feel very settled and part of the community.
It is perhaps for this reason why I now want to give something back, and act in the village's best interest, working together with my colleagues, who have already made some real positive contributions.
I believe that change is inevitable, and we can not ignore the need to continue developing as a village, but equally, I would not wish to lose the friendly, rural community that is the foundation of this great village.
When I'm not working, I enjoy walking around the scenic pathways of Malpas and surrounding villages (with or without Tilly!), travelling around the world to experience diverse countries and occasionally sampling bizarre tastes, and supporting a number of charities.
