Caution — Mud on Local Roads
Local residents are being urged to drive with caution, if using the local lanes to bypass the works at Bradley Bridge instead of using the official alternative route via the A41 Trunk road.
These minor roads being subjected to use by large volumes of traffic including Heavy Goods Vehicles, and large low loaders delivering mechanical diggers and building supplies to developments taking place in the village.
The verges on the minor roads have been extensively cut up and large amounts of mud have been thrown onto the carriageway.
In addition the roads have become more hazardous due to speeding vehicles.
The issue has been reported to Cheshire Highways and the Police
Please avoid using the lanes and stick to the official alternative. If you do have to use those routes then PLEASE ENSURE YOU DRIVE WITH EXTREME CAUTION
