Malpas Parish Councillors voted to take a break and not hold a Parish Council meeting in August, instead reverting back to the normal 11 month cycle of meetings. Last year Councillors felt that there was a need to break with tradition and hold a meeting due to an overwhelming amount of business facing the Parish Council, however at their meeting on Monday it was agreed that this year the Council would not be held in August but would reconvene in September. The Parish Council surgery however will be held as normal on the 6th August.
