New Defibrillator at No Mans Heath

For every minute after someone enters cardiac arrest the chance of survival decreases by 10% unless a defibrillator is used.

Early recognition of cardiac arrest, early good basic life support and early defibrillation can really save lives.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have now managed to ensure the No Mans Heath defibrillator is now available 24/7.

The AED device is now situated outside the Wheatsheaf Pub on Chester Road, SY14 8DY.

Thanks to:
Nick Blair who works in the community resuscitation team for supplying the cabinet free of charge,

No Mans Heath Parish Council for funding the installation,

Tracey, the the Landlady of the Wheatsheaf Inn for allowing us to install it at the pub

Thanks also to the village shop for keep the AED there until the cabinet was installed.

Defibrillators now exist at:
Malpas Alport School
Malpas Fire Station
The Co-op convenience Store on High Street, Malpas
Prospect House
Threapwood Garage

If anyone is interested in a free heartstart training session on how to use the Defibrillator then contact :
