A warning has been issued to residents after an elderly couple in Chester was scammed out of £20,000.

Fraudsters posing as police officers have been targeting people across the county.

Phone calls are made to say bank details have been compromised and advice is given to withdraw all their money following which a man would come to the home so it can be checked.
