The deadline to register for the current round of Cheshire West and Chester Council's collective energy switching scheme known as 'Ready to Switch?' has been extended.

Residents can register on-line until Tuesday 29 November to take advantage of the competitive deals secured. Residents without access to the internet can register by calling 01244 977262, but need to do so by Tuesday 22 November.

The deadline for accepting an offer in this current round is Tuesday 29 November 2016.

The scheme is available for both credit and prepayment meters, it's free to register for and there is no obligation to switch suppliers if the tariff offered doesn't better your current one. The average saving for this current round is £203.

If you haven't switched supplier for a while, now is actually a great time to see if you can reduce the cost of your energy, before the winter sets in.

The Ready to Switch scheme has been an enormous success so far, with hundreds of households in West Cheshire benefiting from lower energy bills.

Simply register both your contact details and details of your annual energy consumption at www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/readytoswitch
Residents without access to the internet should call 01244 977262 to register.
