Just a reminder to every driver, the Whitchurch Road ( B5395) will be closed at Bradley Bridge (about 1 mile south east from the centre of Malpas) to carry out some bridge investigation works, tree felling and a survey.
Several trenches will be excavated across the road over the bridge.
This work is needed for preparation for a future bridge maintenance scheme.
The closure will begin on Monday 9 January and is expected to last for one week to 10 days.
There will be a signed diversion using Chester Road and the A41.
Advance notification signs have been placed at the bridge.
