Temporary Bridge Closure — Bradley Bridge Old Hall Street in Malpas
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close Bradley Bridge and to prohibit traffic on the following length of road in Malpas to enable bridge repair works to be carried out by Cheshire West And Chester Council.
Bradley Bridge Old Malpas Road closed at junction with Roman Road on the north west side of the bridge and at the junction with Bradley Hall on the south east side of the bridge.
Bradley Bridge lies on Old Malpas Road (B5395) approx 1.5km south east from the centre of Malpas.
There will be no access over the bridge for emergency services, cyclists, or pedestrians.
The Order will come into force on 5th August 2019 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will take approximately fourteen weeks to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic
Traffic should proceed via B5395 Oldhall Street, B5069 Chester Road, A41 Whitchurch Road and B5395 Old Malpas Road.
