U3A February 2025 Meeting
The speaker at our meeting in February is Mike Royden.
During the English Civil War, Chester was a major Royalist supporter.
As Cromwell's army swept across Cheshire, key strategic towns fell one by one and after the Royalist defeat at Rowton Moor, Chester was left vulnerable!
