The local Parish Council is Malpas Parish Council.

The Council now meets on the last Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Malpas Community Church, High Street, Malpas.
Members of the Public are welcome to attend and observe proceedings.
Unless given special dispensation by the Chairman, the Public may only speak during the Open Forum session of the meeting.

(Please note, there will be a Part Two where the press and members of the public will be excluded from the meeting as the items to be discussed are either of a contractual or personal or sensitive nature.)

Members of the public can also raise issues with a Parish Councillor at their surgeries which are held on the first Saturday of every month between 10:00 am and 11:00 pm in the Old Fire Station cafe bar. (Unless otherwise stated)
