Charles John Richardson, known as John, born in Malpas in 1893. 

Son of Charles Richardson.

The 1901 census shows him living with his grandmother, Sarah Davies in High Street, Malpas.

Married Beatrice Annie Bebbington at Cudworth, Lancashire on 9 February 1914.

The couple continued to live at Cudworth.

Father to Mary and Charles. 

Mary was born on 2 October 1913, and her birth was registered in Whitchurch.       

His enlistment papers in 1914 show him as a gas worker.

Charles John Richardson; was born along with 3 of his 4 siblings in Malpas (as were both his parents); then the family moved away.

The service record for CJR (service number 14/599) survives and indicates he was born in Malpas in 1893 and in 1919 both his parents are recorded as deceased.
