The local Parish Council is Malpas Parish Council.

The Council would normal meet on the second Monday of every Month at 7pm in the Jubilee Hall, High St. Malpas.
Members of the Public are welcome to attend.

Members of the public could also normally raise issues with a Parish Councillor at a surgery which is normally held in the Jubilee Hall, Malpas on the first Saturday of every month between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.

However, due to the current coronavirus crisis all parish Council engagements have been suspended.

From April 2020, Malpas Parish Council meetings have not taken place in person. However, after new legislation has been passed Malpas Parish Council are now able hold a virtual web based public meetings, via the Zoom software.

As a result meetings held on Monday 20th April, Monday 11th May, Monday 18th May, Monday 8th June, Monday 13th July and Monday 10th August took place via Zoom over the internet.

Parishioners are welcome to join the meeting and may speak during the Open Forum part of the meeting.
(Please note, there will be a Part Two where the press and members of the public will be excluded from the meeting as the items to be discussed are either of a contractual or sensitive nature.)

To register to join the meeting please contact the Clerk via email, and you will receive an invite to join the meeting.

Should any parishioner wish to speak during the Open Forum part of the meeting please request to do so when registering to join the meeting and please state the subject matter you wish to speak about.
