Second son of William and May (Mary Jane) Glover (Nee Williams) of Cuddington Heath, Malpas.

The 1911 Census records George as a newspaper agent in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

George's mother, Mary Jane was the daughter of George and Frances Williams of Cuddington, Malpas.

Mary married William Glover and had 7 children before dying in 1913.

The Glovers had 7 children: John (Jack), George, William, Ethel, Phyllis, Alice and Mary.

When Mary died William moved to live at Foel, Llangadfan, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire, Wales.

George’s older brother, John (Jack), also lost his life in 1916 in the Great War.

George and Jack were brothers of Phyllis Glover, care of Mrs Higginson of Cuddington Heath, Malpas, Cheshire.
