Second son of the late John Angelo Wasse and Margaret Tomkin.

Stepson of William Bellis of High Street, Malpas.

Margaret married William in 1894.

Leonard was a painter for the London and North Western Railway in Huddersfield.

In 1914, Leonard boarded with Mrs Jones, 25 Prescot Street, Hoole, Chester.
