Born in Broxton in 1890.

Second son of Robert and Mary Williamson of High Street, Malpas.

The 1911 Census shows Richard as a farm labourer.

Richard survived Gallipoli campaign and had been previously wounded in Mesopotamia before death in Dec 1916.

Richard's younger brother, George, also lost his life in WW1.
