INTRODUCING "OPAL TELEPHONE FRIENDS"

Our new ‘OPAL TELEPHONE FRIENDS’ is a free service aimed at older people who have great difficulty leaving their home but would like someone to chat to over the telephone on a regular basis.

They will be paired up with one of our a fantastic volunteers who will ring them weekly for a general chat and to see how they are.

I was wondering if you could please share this with anyone in your area who you think would benefit from this service (they need to be over 60 and live in rural west Cheshire)

We would love to hear from you to get them involved.
If you can think of any good ways to get the word out in your area, please let me know.
