Kidora Outgrown – Not Wasted

Hello all

I'm a mum of two from Broughton, near Chester, and founder of Kidora.

I wanted to share a practical family initiative that I thought could be useful for families around Malpas.

Kidora was recently featured nationally in The Sun on Sunday, but rather than sending another founder story, I wanted to bring something different back closer to home.

We've launched Outgrown, Not Wasted, a free seven-day family clear-out challenge built around something most parents experience: children constantly growing out of clothes, toys, books, shoes and other belongings while they still have plenty of useful life left.

The challenge helps families work through what they already have and decide what to keep, pass on to another family, donate, recycle responsibly or sell. We've also made free materials available for schools, nurseries, PTAs and community organisations that would like to take part.

With Christmas approaching and many homes likely to be taking in more toys, clothes and gifts, we thought this was a good time to encourage families to look at what they already have, clear some space and make sure useful children's items do not simply sit unused.
