Malpas Christmas Market – Road Closure

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on following roads in the Parish of Malpas to enable the Malpas Christmas Market to be carried out by the organiser.

Roads to be closed

Old Hall Street (From Well Street to Old Hall Court)

The Order will come into force on 08:30am on 27th November 2022 and will continue in force for an approximate duration of 11 hours and 30 minutes.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR TRAFFIC
Chester Road, A41 and Old Malpas Road

Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.

The promoter of the event is Malpas Parish Council
