Due to an increase in measles cases across the country this year, including the recent outbreak in the West Midlands, Cheshire West and Chester Council is encouraging everyone to check that they and their children have had two doses of the MMR vaccine.

The MMR vaccine is a free, safe and effective way to protect against measles, mumps and rubella.

We would appreciate your help to spread this message throughout your community and help increase vaccine uptake as measles can have serious and sometimes fatal consequences.
