Vyrnwy Aqueduct Modernisation Project. – update

In addition to the monthly update document attached, a short summary of our work progress has been provided below.

Progress update – Cleaning
Since commencing our cleaning operations within Area 01 from Early 2023, rapid progress has been made and we are very happy to inform that the final phase of cleaning work within Area 04 is now complete, with our teams completing final inspections.

Once complete, there will be no further cleaning construction work within the Malpas to Tarporley section.

Progress update – Lining
We’re continuing with our modernisation programme, currently working in the Bickerton and Bulkeley areas re-lining Line 1 of the Vyrnwy Aqueduct (Area 02).

Next Steps
We want to ensure that as a project we are continuously providing the most up to date information on our works.
As we progress, we’ll continue to keep you up to date on our progress and programme of work within your area, in addition to holding community drop-in sessions where local residents and stakeholders can come along to discuss our work with members of our team.
