KERBSIDE RECYCLING & WASTE COLLECTIONS AND HOUSEHOLD WASTE RECYCLING CENTRES DURING CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR

Dear Resident,

There will be four collection day changes during the festive period, which are shown below. Any dates that are not listed, residents will receive a collection on their usual scheduled collection day:

Please remember to place your containers scheduled for emptying out for collection for 6am.

Every household produces food waste. Unless you home compost it, it must be recycled using the brown food caddy, which is emptied weekly. If you don’t have one, you can order one for free on the Council’s website Order new or replacement bin | Cheshire West and Chester Council

Never bin batteries. We are working with our crews to collect batteries safely, but we need you to:

Always check items for hidden batteries.
Always leave batteries and electricals out for collection in a separate container.
If batteries cannot be removed, recycle the whole item at your local recycling centre

Household waste recycle centres (HWRCs) are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
There will be no other changes to the opening times at any of the HWRCs.
