80th Anniversary Commemoration of D-Day Landings

Below are a selection of photographs taken at the commemoration event on 6th June 2024.

The event was jointly organised by Malpas Community Links and the Malpas and District Community Land Trust.

Following the lighting of the signal beacon there was a flypast of a World War Two Avro Anson aeroplane.

By some strange occurrence there was also a formation flypast of two geese.
