Record of Death:

Killed in action at sea, 2nd March 1944. Aged 24.

Commemorated on the Brookwood 1939-1945 Memorial Surrey. Panel 17 Column 1.

Frank was working for Leonard Passey’s father (Leonard also lost his life by accidental drowning )

Frank was recorded as living at Chorlton Lane Shop, Chorlton in 1939

Frank was onboard HMS LST-362 (LST is Landing Ship Tank) when it was torpedoed by German submarine U-744 southwest of Ireland.
