Son of Thomas Hartley & Catherine Beatrice (Nee Thompson) Kemp.

Married Nesta Elleanor Jones of Southgate, Middlesex. B.A.(Dunelm) in Quarter 1 1940.

Father of Andrea K. Kemp.

The 1939 register records Thomas as a schoolmaster in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

The family lived at Oathills, Chester Road, Malpas in 1939.

His sister, Alison Thompson Kemp who was engaged in Red Cross work in Chester, married Lieutenant Roy Townley Davies from Prenton in Malpas on Saturday 14th November 1942.
