Died of Pneumonia in Burma 12 April 1945. Age 29.

Buried in Maynamati War Cemetery Bangladesh. 3. D. 4.

Commemorated on the Rosset War Memorial as Henry T Finchett.

Born in Allingon, Denbigshire (Nr. Wrexham) on 22nd March 1916.

Baptised on 24 April 1916 in the Parish of Rossett

The son of Charles & Sarah (Nee Morby) Finchett.

Husband of Dorothy Wynne (Rowlands) and father to Dorothy E. 

The 1939 census records Dorothy Wynne, 16 years old as a dairy maid living in Wrexham Road, Malpas.

Thomas was living at No. 1  Sunnyside at the time of his death. 

His brother Ernest was also killed in action in WW2,and is commemorated along with Henry Thomas on the Rosset War Memorial.

His occupation was a bricklayer

There were 10 children in total in the Finchett Family; Thomas Henry being the ninth.
