£1.286 million additional funding for road maintenance
Cheshire West and Chester Council has received £1.286 million additional funding for road maintenance for 2023/24.
£1.286 million additional funding for road maintenance has been announced as part of a package of transport funding known as 'Network North' which has been released following the cancellation of the northern leg of HS2 and is now proposed to be reinvested in transport.
