It's nearly time for our annual Christmas Tree Festival and this year we want it to be bigger and better than before!
Entering a tree in the festival is FREE and it's an opportunity for local groups, organisations, and businesses to advertise and promote their causes and trade as well as joining in with the rest of the village to light up the church and show what a wonderful community Malpas is.
The festival is open to:
Taking part is as easy as 1,2,3...
Let us know you want to take part by replying to the e-mail below
Decorate a tree (artificial or real) to reflect your business or interest (please only use battery operated lights. Our old building is wonderful but lacks sufficient electrics)
Bring your tree to St Oswald's Church on FRIDAY 24TH NOVEMBER
Our festival will take part on the same weekend as Malpas Christmas Market and the church will be open all that weekend with a café and stalls.
On Sunday 26th November, there will be a lantern parade through the village and into St Oswald's Church where we will end the weekend with a Festival Family Fun Service surrounded by Christmas trees.
We do hope you will join us to start the festive season with a bang!
Please do email with any questions
With all good wishes
