Community Tree Planting Day

Malpas Community Links would like to thank everyone who turned up at Lower Moss Farm in the cold weather yesterday morning, to help with the planting of hundreds of new trees.

Virtually every month, we are loosing mature trees from our village without sufficient suitable replacements being planted.

Although it will take some time for those trees planted yesterday to come maturity, the exercise will prove a valuable step towards mitigation against climate change.

A big thank you to all our newly trained and experienced planters.
