Our speaker is Professor Simon Poole from Chester University.
Professor Poole will talk about the mint family, he holds the National Collection of mints in his garden at Bickerton.
This aromatic, group of plants have a lot of culinary and medicinal uses, as well as being magnets for bees when in flower.
We meet in our new venue, The Young Person's Centre behind the Fire Station at 7.30 pm.
Parking is available at the Allport Primary School just opposite the Fire Station, with entrance from that direction also.
Membership is £10, entrance is £2.00 to members, £5.00 for non members, light refreshments and a raffle are included in this price.
