Temporary Traffic Restrictions (2024)

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporary traffic restrictions will be in operation between Thursday 5th September and Sunday 8th September 2024, the effect of which will be to restrict traffic as detailed below on roads in the Parish of Hampton while the Yesteryear Rally event takes place at Hampton Showground.

The Order will come into force from 08:00 on Thursday 5th September until 17:00 on Sunday8th September 2024 and will close the following roads as detailed below.

Loop Road (from A41 to B5069).

The notice will also introduce a speed restriction on the A41 of 40mph, between the B5069and the point 500 metres southeast of Cholmondley Road.

Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at alltimes.

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle whichis being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.

The promoter of this event is Malpas Vintage Machinery Association.
