Temporary Traffic Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporary traffic restrictions will be in operation between Thursday 7th September and Sunday 10th September 2023,the effect of which will be to restrict traffic as detailed below on roads in the Parish of Hampton while the Yesteryear Rally event takes place at Hampton Showground.

The following road will be closed from 09:00 on Thursday 8th September until 23:59 on 10th September 2023:

Loop Road (from A41 to B5069).

The notice will also introduce a speed restriction on the A41 of 40mph, between the B5069 and the point 500 metres south east of Cholmondeley Road.

Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.

The promoter of this event is Malpas Vintage Machinery Association.
