New Freephone telephone numbers for Cheshire West Council

To improve access to services for Cheshire West residents two of our services' current contact telephone numbers have now been transferred over to Freephone numbers.

The two numbers affected are:
HELP (Help in Emergencies for Local People)
New Freephone Tel No. 0808 175 3599 replacing Tel No. 0300 123 7065

West Cheshire Homes advice line – this service provides help for residents applying for social housing, housing options, and to report rough sleepers.

New Freephone Tel No.0808 175 3595 replacing Tel No. 0300 123 2442

It is anticipated that following switchover some residents may continue to use the old telephone numbers for a while. If this happens, a recorded message will notify the caller of the new Freephone number and advise them to redial using the new number to contact the service free of charge.

If they are unable to make a note of the new number on the call, they will be notified that the call is being transferred at a local rate charge.

The old numbers will be switched off on 31 January 2023, meaning after this date they will no longer be available.
