Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Suspension of Parking bays

Church Street in Malpas

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to:

i) temporarily prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road:
Church Street (west side) – from a point 15 metres west of the westerly kerb line of High Street Malpas for a distance of 200 metres in a south-westerly direction; and Church Street (east side) – from a point 28 metres west of the westerly kerb line of High Street Malpas for a distance of 190 metres in a south-westerly direction.

ii) temporarily suspend parking bays on Church Street Malpas (west side) from a point 15 metres west of the
westerly kerb line of High Street for a distance of 26 metres in southerly direction

The temporary prohibition of waiting and parking bay suspension are required to enable structural repairs to StOswalds Church Wall, works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council
The Order will continue the five day notice that came into force on 23 August 2021 and will continue in force for aperiod not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completedwhichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately eighteen months to complete.
