This year, St Oswald's Church, Malpas is holding its very first Christmas Tree Festival!
We're inviting all local businesses, uniformed and voluntary organisations, charities, and schools and nurseries to enter a Christmas Tree and be part of this exciting community event that will mark the start of the festive season.
There will be a café and entertainment throughout the festival.
The festival will end with our Advent Carol Service on 27th November at 6:30pm.
How do I enter?
Complete an entry form or email us with your name and contact details. We will confirm your entry and send you more details.
There is no charge to enter a tree and there will be a prize for the best tree.
What will I need to do?
Bring your tree (real or artificial) on the set-up day (24th November)
Decorate your tree however you like
You can use battery operated lights to decorate your tree (unfortunately we can't accommodate plug in lights due to the age of the building)
Take your tree down on set down day (28th November)
We would love you to theme your trees to reflect your organisation. If you are in search of inspiration, you can find some ideas here: Christmas Tree Ideas
There will be space around your tree to put promotional or interactive material.
We hope the event will be a wonderful opportunity to display the rich diversity of Malpas Village through Christmas Trees and we look forward to celebrating the festive season with you all.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Every blessing ahead of this festive season
