Malpas Parish Council considers all planning applications generated within the Parish against our Neighbourhood Plan in a timely manner.
Applications are discussed by the Planning Committee at meetings which take place on the Monday prior to the Full Parish Council meeting date, except on Bank Holidays, when the meeting will take place on the Tuesday.
Approval or refusal of a planning application is done by the Cheshire West and Chester Council's Planning Authority.
Malpas Parish Council does not approve or refuse planning applications, it simply produces reports which contain observations from a local perspective.
These observations are forwarded to the Planning Authority who when making a decision to refuse or approve the application will consider all comments submited. Comments can be classed as "material or non-material considerations"
